Being excelent in any environmment is always a good thing. Many people will start to want be around your positive energy. Also people may want to be excellent just like you. Actintg in this way can also help you later on in life. Your future boss could be watching you be positive and you might never know it.
ReplyDeleteAnother reason you should be excellent is because it can make you an all around better person. Being excellent can help you grow as person also. This type of behavior will help you change the status quo. Lastly, making excellent theb status quo will help you to improve your personality and other's personalities.
I belive this quote is saying don't settle for mediocrity. You should strive for better and be the best you that you could possibly be. Don't allow yourself to conform to others. Use your skills, talents, and abilities to your benefit so that you will be ahead of the game. Be a yard stick of quality and demand excellence.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I believe it is saying xcellence is not hard to conquer. You just must make the choice that you will always give 100 percent towards everything you do. Most people are not use to excellence because excellence is not the status quo. The status quo is to be average. When more is demanded, more will be given. Change the status quo and be excellent because it will only bring you success.
The importance of this quote is that it's okay to excel in different skills. Just because some other people aren't good at something doesn't mean that you have to do bad. It’s better to be in an environment that is excelling because you learn more. If everyone is excelling then a person will feel equal to them.

Someone skills not everyone can master, like running not everyone can run fast. With practice, hard work and a good environment every skill can be mastered,
I feel you should always be excellent at whatever you do. I feel this way because anyone can be watching your every move. Being excellent can take you far in life. Even if excellence is not the status quo you should still be excellent because it can possibly open many doors for you.
ReplyDeleteSome people are embarrassed of their excellence because they are afraid of what people say. You should not limit your excellence because of someone else. I call people that are jealous of others with excellence "haters". I feel that way because they don't want to see someone else doing better than them. So whether or not you have "haters" still be excellent.
I feel this quote is very important , you should always try to over suceed in everything you do. Normally when your excellent at something its a gift. Being excellent and just trying your very best can take you far in life. For example , im not a lame or a dork at school,I see how people are struggling and i dont want to struggle so i try my best too make straight A's in school and do what i have to do to be sucessful. I dont really care what people think.
ReplyDeleteYou should never let anyone tell you that its lame to be excellent or try your best if its the status quo or not. You shouldnt lower your standards or what you are capable of doing for anyone. Sooner or later those people that laughed at you or told you your lame for trying or being excellent , will look up too you or think back and say they shouldve tried too be more like you , other than judge you.

However, when people doubt your ability, the best thing to do is prove them wrong by being the very opposite of what they expect. There is no greater joy than proving someone wrong when they tell you, "you can't." This quote is telling you to do just that.
